CraveU AI Alternative: Why GoLove.ai Wins
What Is CraveU AI, Exactly?
CraveU AI markets itself as the no-filter companion app with zero limits. I spent four days actually using it to see if that promise holds, and whether it beats GoLove.ai where it counts.
Short version: CraveU AI is an NSFW character-chat app. Personas, text roleplay, image generation bolted on the side. The text part is genuinely decent. But if you want a companion who calls you, remembers you, and sends a photo of the same face next week, GoLove.ai is what I'd point a friend at — same character-chat core, plus live voice and memory that survives you closing the tab.
What CraveU actually ships:
- Chat — persona-driven roleplay, no content filter to fight
- Personas — a big library of community-made characters
- Images — they exist, but they're a side dish, not the meal

Browsing is where the gap shows. Barbara (@dixie) plays the unimpressed rich girl straight. The math-tutor milf archetype could go very wrong, and Jessica (@hotlinejess) does it with actual restraint. Kennedy (@kennyhill)? She's the confident one who steers, and she's who I'd send you to first if you like being led.
Who Caught Your Eye?
Pick a character to begin
Tap any of them and you're mid-conversation in seconds — no builder wizard, no signup wall. That's the fastest way to feel the difference for yourself.
Does CraveU AI Remember You Between Chats?
Within a single sitting, CraveU AI holds the thread fine. She tracks what you said twenty messages ago, keeps the scene consistent, doesn't forget she's supposed to be in a hotel room. That's the easy part — almost every app clears that bar now.
Leave and come back, though, and the trouble starts. What I found across four days:
- Inside a session: context holds, tone holds, the scene stays intact
- After you leave: the running storyline goes soft — details you established earlier stop coming back on their own
- Across characters: nothing carries; each persona starts cold
GoLove handles the return visit differently. Memory is a listed feature there, not an accident of context window, and it shows up as relationship progression — she references things you told her days back, and the dynamic shifts instead of resetting to stranger-flirt every time.

Same panel is where you set lust level (5 steps, sweet to unfiltered) and response length. Tone you control, history she keeps — that's the whole continuity argument sitting in one screen.
What About Photos on CraveU AI?
I generated a handful of images on CraveU AI over two evenings. Quality is fine-to-good on the first pass. Then comes the likeness drift: ask the same character for a second and third photo and you often get a cousin, not her. Hair length wanders. Face structure resets. For a companion app, that breaks the illusion faster than a bad render ever could.
What I hit in practice:
- Free generations run out fast — you're at a paywall the same evening you start
- Consistency is the real ceiling, not resolution
- Prompting carries more weight than it should; there's no proper pose/outfit picker doing the work for you

GoLove comes at it from the other end — 35 realistic poses, 21 outfits, 34 backgrounds, batches of 2, 4 or 8 — so you're choosing from cards instead of arguing with a text box, and the character stays the character.
Does CraveU AI Make Videos Too?
On CraveU AI, "media" means static images. I went looking for a video path during testing and didn't find one worth reporting — you're generating pictures, and that's the medium.
GoLove treats video as a normal part of the same chat. Take a photo you already generated and turn it into a clip right there, or go to Generate → Video and build one from preset cards — an action, clothes, background, one tap.

The preset library runs deep: 76 realistic video modes for female and male characters, plus 20 anime, 35 trans and 16 anime-trans — 147 total. Labels are plain UI things like Twerk, Instant Undress, Hard Doggy Style. This isn't the reason I'd recommend GoLove, and I'd rank it well below the photo and memory story. But a real feature still beats an absent one.
Does CraveU AI Have Voice Calls?
Does CraveU AI let you actually talk to a character? No. What you get is playback — she writes, you tap, a clip reads it out. Text-to-speech attached to a message, not a conversation. Useful for atmosphere, and if you mostly read anyway, it's fine. But nobody selling "voice" should let you assume it means a call, and most CraveU write-ups never bother to check.
GoLove ships both and keeps them separate: voice messages for async, and Voice Calls that are live and real-time. Completely different experience — you talk, there's a beat, she answers, you interrupt her. First time I did it I put the phone down mid-sentence because it felt like being on the phone with someone, which is either the selling point or the reason you'll pass on it. That one's preference, and I won't pretend otherwise.

You can also request photos mid-chat with the same character you're calling. No app switching.
Is CraveU AI's Pricing Actually Worth It?
CraveU AI runs a limited free tier and paid tiers above it — their plan names and amounts shift, so check their site rather than trusting a blog table (mine included). What I can tell you from using it: the free allowance is an evening, not a week, and the paid step buys you more of the same thing. Text and images.
Here's what the money buys on each side:
| | CraveU AI | GoLove.ai |
|---|---|---| | Uncensored chat | Yes | Yes — 5 lust levels | | Memory across sessions | Weak | Yes, with relationship progression | | Live voice calls | No — TTS playback only | Yes, real-time | | Photos | Yes, drifts on likeness | 35 poses / 21 outfits / 34 backgrounds | | Video | No | 147 preset modes + photo-to-video | | Pricing | Tiers change — check their site | PRO ~$19.99/mo, ~$119.88/yr (~$9.99/mo) |
Cost notes worth knowing:
- Stars are GoLove's in-app currency for generation; packs run about $9.99 to $179.99
- Free daily stars — 2 per day, so a free account isn't dead weight
- Promos are frequent; I've seen -50% and -70% banners, and regional pricing goes as low as ~$12.99/mo in some geos
Do that annual math — voice, memory, consistent photos and video for roughly ten bucks a month — and you'll see why I stopped reloading CraveU on day three. Worth every penny at that rate, and you can check the roster before you commit a cent.
Prices checked 2026-08; promos vary by region and change often.
What I Couldn't Test at GoLove.ai
Four days is enough to judge voice, photos and whether memory survives a night's sleep. It's not enough to answer everything, so here's what I'm not claiming:
- Long-horizon memory — she held everything I gave her across the test window, but I can't tell you what a storyline looks like at month six. Nobody testing for a week can.
- Whether the promo pricing sticks — the discounts I saw are real, and discounts by nature expire. Treat the annual rate as today's rate, not a permanent one.
- The Feed and Remix flow — I swiped it, liked clips, opened a couple of characters from it. I didn't push the remix-into-generator loop hard enough to have a strong opinion, and the free tier caps new daily videos anyway.
None of that changes the verdict. It just means the parts I'm confident about — voice, continuity, photo consistency — are the parts I actually lived in.
So Which One Should You Actually Chat With?
Want uncensored text roleplay with a big persona library and no commitment? CraveU AI does that competently, and you can stop reading here. It's a fine place to spend an evening.
For anything past that, GoLove.ai is the pick. Quick reasons:
- Memory — she comes back knowing you, and the relationship moves
- Media — consistent photos with real pose/outfit controls, plus photo-to-video when you want it
- Voice — actual live calls, not a TTS clip attached to a message
CraveU's ceiling is text. GoLove's floor is text, and everything else stacks on top — which is why the value comparison isn't close once you're paying either way.
The part that sold me: you can browse, open a chat, and hear how she talks before spending anything, and 2 free stars a day means even a free account keeps generating. Trust me on the order of operations — meet a few first, then decide. If you'd rather skip the roster and build exactly the girl in your head — realistic, anime or trans, or just describe her and let Design with AI do it — start there instead.
